Dasko Up Date

Dasko is very ill and is essentially returning home to die. I will make him as comfortable as I possibly can and let him eat what ever he will. The fluids and drug therapy did not help him. He is not in pain at this time, nor will I allow him to be. The vet has said she thinks he has a few days. I will be back later.
Thank you for the prayers and e-mails. He made lots of friends Through My Back Door.

    Betty...haven't kept up with blogging lately...too many shows...but saw this on FB. I'm so so sorry...I know how precious Dasko is to you and what a treasured friend and companion he is. My prayers are with him that it is gentle, and my prayers are with you that you find comfort that you gave him the best life any dog could be blessed with.....hugs, Jan

    My heart is so heavy for you Betty. I am so sorry. But we all know Dasko has lived a wonderful life with you, one full of love. I feel honored to have met him in person. You and Dasko will be on my mind and in my prayers.

    Awww, I can't stand to hear this....Oh Betty, I know this is hard. I just hate this for you. Enjoy your time with him...My prayers and heart are with you. Lord, give Betty strenth to endure this days....help her and Dasko to enjoy the time they have left together.. No pain, please for him and help heal Ms Betty's pain and heartache as she is loosing her dear friend.. In Jesus Name.. Blessings My Friend..

    This just rips my heart out...so I can imagine what it is doing for you. As I said, I recently went through this with our beloved Gazoo....and the pain is still raw.     Betty~ I am soooo sorry to hear this. Such a handsome fella. Sure did enjoy the stories about him, I have been missing for a while. School has kept me very busy this year, Then my 28 year old very healthy son had a massive stroke 2 weeks ago. The doctors have no idea why. He has made amazing progress but still has a long way to go. I will say prayers for you and Dasko. Please say prayers for us, too. His name is Brent. I am the one from APP and The Primitive Pantry that lost everything in a house fire about 4 years ago. Hugs to you! It's so hard to lose a pet.
