Merriment Days

I am joining Misi,http://1890gablehousemusings.blogspot.com/
and Robyn,http://primlish.blogspot.com/
for Merriment Days.I hope you will check out other blogs and see who else is on board. This morning instead of coffee, we will have hot chocolate with peppermint.Okay?
I have never done anything like this before and thought it might be fun.

Peppermint candy makes me think Christmas. My Dad always bought me a 5lb  peppermint stick when I was growing up. This stitchery was a gift from my friend Toni Dunn. I love it.
Thanks for coming Through My Back Door where life is good.

  10. Hi Betty!! Glad you have joined...always thrilled to see pics of your gorgeous home!! I love peppermints too---in fact, I keep stashes of them in the car's glove box and throughout the house all year long! Like Misi, I have peppermint sticks that are almost as old as my boys and probably inedible!---Jan

  14. I absolutely love everything about this display Miss Betty - the wonderful old jars, the pop of color from the peppermint, the sweetness of Christmas candies, the primtastic tree, the wonderful orange slices, the Santa...EVERYTHING! Funny thing, I've never had a taste for peppermint, but I do like how it looks...so I laughed good and long at Misi's comment....I have a jar with "vintage" peppermints and candy canes as well.... ;o) So glad you joined in the chain...not sure I'll be able to keep up - things are pure chaos in my world now - but I need this reprieve and thought it may be the only way I'd get any holiday decorations up this year!!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin (Yes...definitely loving the new blog dress!!)
