Jumping For Joy

Good morning and come on in Through My Back Door, where the coffee is waiting. I haven't unloaded the dishwasher from yesterday, but go ahead and help yourself to a mug. Yes, it is the Bunn, haven't had time to take the Keurig back. The Bunn was a little strange the day I couldn't get the Keurig to work.lol Any way I am happy to see you this morning. We have had two days of a good gentle rain and we needed it. Dodd came up anyway and power washed the trailer and my porch. On my property is a double wide trailer and it looked pretty bad when you turned into the lower driveway. Not anymore. I couldn't believe he worked in the rain, but he did. Renda came along and got my computer back in shape. Deb came up and had lunch, so yesterday was a wonderful day for me. I jump with joy when my kids are here or I am with them.
Another reason I am jumping for joy is my friend Jody, from the TPP & TGR forums is coming to visit. Her job is taking her within an hour from me, so she is coming here for the weekend. Oh yes, there will be pictures. She is so funny and I am truly looking forward to her visit.
Another reason I am jumping for joy is Disney Memories. What fun we had. Magic Kingdom was open to 2 or 2:30 am(can't remember which) while we were there and the kids went back. Deb, Michael, and I stayed in and kept Mollie and Andrew. Anyway, Beth requested that Amanda jump up in front of the Castle and shout,"I kicked cancer's butt". So jump she did. The Castle was green until she jumped and then it turned, you got it, pink.
Amanda is truly jumping for joy. We all are.
A few more Disney pictures.
The last one is not a Disney, but I love it.
I am going to leave you with just a few of my favorite things. I hope you enjoy.

Thank you for coming Through My Back Door where life is good.
betty
PS: Each of you who prayed so hard for Amanda has a part in this leaping for joy. Thank you
PSS:It was with sadness I read Linda Rudmans, blog last night,Behind My Red door, to learn it was her last one. Linda was the first blog I ever read.As a matter of fact I had no idea what a blog was until her article in CS. She will be on FB, but her blog will be missed. Like each of us her life has gone in a different direction. As the Bible says,"There is a time......".
PSSS: Thanks to each of you who have coffee with me and let me ramble. I am eternally thankful for each of you and the friendships we have developed. Joy from Calif, the Olde Farmhouse, sent me a plant holder, that makes it easy to pull down and water. I haven't gotten a picture yet, but will. Thanks Joy I certainly enjoyed our phone visit. Blogging is such a wonderful experience, I encourage you to start one if you don't have one.

  13. What a wonderful shot of Amanda in front of the castle...what perfect timing! Pictures are priceless...you are lucky to have so many. That's what I miss the most from our house fire. We did salvage more than I thought we would. I am so sad about Linda's blog, too. She has been an inspiration to us all. I do understand what she is going through. Her plate is running over right now. I hope you had a wonderful weekend with Jody. You are lucky to have met so many wonderful blog friends. Loved your favorite things...always enjoy my visit and the coffee.

    Have a great week ahead!
