Good morning and welcome Through My Back Door on this first day of the last month of the year. I can hardly believe it is almost Christmas.Where has the year gone? I have had a good year and am truly thankful for it. I have met some new friends and taken several trips. We will save those for another post. Today I just want to welcome December with a cup of White Christmas coffee and some sugar cookies..We can sit in the living room and just visit.
It has been raining here for three days and I am sitting in a chair with a heating pad on my shoulder most of the time. I am eating too much and drinking too much coffee, but that is what it is. I will share a few Christmas pictures today and post another post real soon.
some of the Christmas books in a basket. Others are here and there as I love having them out.
As you know this is one of my all time favorites. I also like the sequel, A Memory of A Cup of Christmas Tea.
I love this one. I can still hear the bell. Can you?
Well I am so happy you came Through My Back Door where life is good.

PSSS:I hope you enjoy every day between now and Christmas. I am giving myself a gift a day on my FB page. Will you join me?
Hi Betty! I'm so sorry to hear you are a bit down and out, but glad you are taking care of yourself. I like to put out my old Christmas books each too. I even have the same Hallmark Polar Express Santa as you and put him in a chair with a book each year as well. Hope you are on the mend soon! Jane
ReplyDeleteBetty, hope your shoulder is better. Missed you eating out with us last Saturday night but really enjoyed the Fantasy Tree event with you on Friday. Love spending time with you all.

ReplyDeleteHi Betty, I found your blog over at Bama Antiques. I'm always looking for blogs with non painted and non distressed antiques. :) Yours is quite lovely, I am your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteI see a basket of blown glass eggs, I have a collection of all sizes of painted ones. They are a lot of fun.
Have a great day!
