Let Your Light Shine, or in This Case Glow

Good morning friends and welcome Through My Back Door for the second time this week. Of course the coffee is on, and of course I want you to have a cup, and of course I want to share just a few of the candles that make my life glow. A few posts ago I did a blog on candles and candle holders, but Dolly over at The Primitive Pantry is hosting, Candles and Candle Holders, and I told her I would join in. Here's a few you haven't seen.

and one more. This is one I really like and can use it anywhere.
Well these are just a few of the candles that glow Through My Back Door, where life is good.
Thanks again for visiting. I am  humbled each time you stop by.

  1. Betty,

Thanks for sharing your candles with us. I do love the soft glow and homey touch that a lit candle creates.

  4. Thank you for commenting, bettyj! I wouldn't have come to visit and discovered your delightful blog. Love the stories and warm welcome extended. I, too, collect little stools. Odd? Curious? Beyond normal? I don't think so and I'm glad to find another who shares the love! Love the little bowl story and I do find it to be a gorgeous piece of yellow ware!
I'm going to enjoy my visits here!

  7. Hi Betty,
I love all of your candle lights, especially the cricket cage, how clever! Just joined you after you posted on my blog! Isn't it funny what does bring people together and why? I come to find that you are retired SpEd teacher, my oldest daughter is a high school SpEd teacher for the past 8 years, and you love Kona coffee, how strange, my middle daughter who counsels in a juvenile detention facility lives in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii, where they have much Kona coffee. Made on one of the Hawaiian Islands! I also have a little one, and she is presently in grad school to be a Physician's Assistant! I must say, we have lots in common, I love your story about the yellow bowl! I am going to ponder about what my yellow bowl is now! But I am so glad you posted to my blog, because now I have found yours' too!

Hope to read many more inspiring stories from you my friend! Oh, and did I say, I love coffee!
