Here Comes Peter Cottontail

What a beautiful afternoon it is here  and I am so happy you chose to come Through My Back Door. It is still cool enough to enjoy a cup of coffee and today we are back on Dunkin DoughNut's Hazelnut. I just love to sit and relax with a good cup of coffee. Don't you? I have often wondered how many serious problems have been solved over a hot cup of coffee. We know a lot of friendships have been forged over it,  because look at us. We have had several cups together. I have been watching womens basketball tournaments today. I have to confess, I love womens basketball and just get real excited when it's March Madness. That is if my Lady Vols do well. I have some other teams I like too, if they are not our opponents.lol Enough of that and on to decorating.
Okay, I have another confession. I am not good at putting together vignettes. I blog hop, get on PT, and I am mesmerized by the beautiful groupings you all put together. Then I attempt it and I just think, shucks a monkey, they never look as polished as a lot of yours does. Any way I thought I would share a few bunnies that are hopping Through My Back Door.
I love these little prim bunnies and the pin keep. I got it from Deb, at Pigrims and Pioneers. I absolutely love her work. I had never had a pin keep until a few months ago. Now I want one for every season. Is that an addiction? (remember the stools) uh oh.
A basket of homemade prim eggs. My friend Sharon, aka The Speckled Hen gave  to me.
This little rabbit was made by Deb.
He is an old chalkware bunny I bought at a yard sale for a dime.
I love him buried in these red tulips.
This not a bunny but a little yellow peep. I think he is cute in that basket.
When Easter is in the horizon, I love it when the Cadbury carmel eggs are found in stores!Oh my, I like them almost as much as ice cream! Have you ever put them in the freezer and eaten them half frozen? They are so good. Try it.
Well thanks for coming Through My Back Door  where life is good.

ps I appreciate all of you who have joined me on this journey. I read all of your comments and they mean a lot. I have come to the conclusion that some of the most wonderful people on earth are on blogs and forums. I am so thankful to get to know you through this medium. I have also joined the ranks of those on Face Book, thanks to my daughter. I have no idea what I am doing but it is fun!

  1. Hi Betty! Love all of your bunnies and I think your displays look great! We are most critical of our own, I think. It's looking like Spring around Blogland!

  3. Betty, What are we gonna do with you?! LOL! I think you have a good eye for things! At least you actually get something done! LOL! I love all the rabbits, and I haven't ever tried a Cadbury Caramel Egg. Lord knows I don't need any more chocolate addictions!
I do love coffee, I think I will have to make sure and drink more water and cranberry juice! I finally passed a stone. I am sure of it, I have it in my little cup thingy with the lid. I feel a bit better, not sure if that's it or not.
I hope you are enjoying your basketball! I think that is great!
    Have a good weekend.
    Blessings,
    Renee

  10. Hi Betty, I always enjoy your displays, I think you have a talent for it. I love your collection of bunnies, but I think my favorite is the little peep in the basket, just darling. Nanbrook Farm is located in Lincolnton, N.C., its just a great place to visit, her old farmhouse sits next to her shop, and at christmas you can go in and tour her house, my favorite thing to do. Her link to her picturetail is under my favorite shops on my blog, she has lots of pictures. Where are you located in Tn? We come up to the Kingsport Tn. area several times a year. Vicky
