Welcome Through My Backdoor today. I was hoping to have some exciting news to share, but I don't as of this morning. We are looking for a new baby girl, but she has decided not to make an appearance just yet. However her big brother is the light of my life and I thought I would introduce you to him. I didn't want to unless his Mommy agreed and she said sure!
So today you will meet a couple of people who come through my back door. I don't want to overwhelm you with visitors so I will start with these. This is Andrew. He is my four years old great grandson. He is soon going to be a big brother. He keeps me on my toes and he and I have a wonderful time. This is Andrew and his Mommy. She is my oldest Granddaughter. This is on her birthday this year. I will show more pictures of the rest of the family who comes through my backdoor another time.
Someone asked about the basket on the old red building. There really is no story behind it. A friends sister gave it to me and I love it. It is a tobacco basket. They used to be everywhere, but you don't find them much anymore. I love that old red building because it is original to the property. It isn't used for anything but to hang a basket on.LOL Also she asked about the pottery in the box pictures. It is Maple City pottery and not expensive. It is also usable as it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Thanks also to all of you have visited Through My Backdoor, and decided to stay as a follower. I had no idea I would get any, let alone so many so soon. I have been told I must do a giveaway when and if I get 50 followers. Well first off I PROMISE I will not make it!!! I haven't decided yet what it will be, but I have a daughter who is a wonderful crafter and I know where the best prim shop is! You can bet it will come from there. (The Speckled Hen, in Clinton, Tn) As soon as I can put it together I'll post a picture. I so humbly thank you for your wonderful comments and for coming Through My Backdoor where life is good. I will leave you with a few pictures of what I see out my backdoor.
